Camps
Week long day camps are a great way for beginner students to build a solid riding foundation through daily riding lessons. By the end of the week campers will have learned horsemanship skills such as; leading, brushing, saddling, steering, stopping, jogging, dismounting, and turning out horses. Campers also learn about the anatomy, colours and breeds of horses.
Camp is also great for the intermediate rider. It allows them to spend more time in the saddle. Consecutive riding days help campers learn faster. They learn more advanced maneuvers such as; leg yielding, backing, turn on the forehand, turn on the haunches, and loping skills. Students will also learn more in-depth theory, such things as; conformation, hoof care and understanding common horse equipment.

Camp Age Requirements
Week long day camps are for campers ages 7-14yrs (must be 7 years old at the time of camp)
Pricing
$450 per week including HST
Drop off and Pick up
Camps run daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Signing up
Step 1: Please fill out our Online Registration Form. After completing the registration form your will receive a confirmation email stating that you have been accepted to camp.
Step 2 : Fill out our Liability Form
Step 3: Send payment and Liability form to Grace Farms
Full payment or a $125 deposit must be submitted before April 30 2024 with completed release form to reserve your spot.

A Day at Camp
Each morning campers experience what it's like to own their own horse. The day begins with grooming and tacking the horses, then into the arena for their morning riding lesson. The morning is finished with some chores and then lunch. The afternoon is packed full of horse related run around games, educational horse games, scavenger hunts and fantastic crafts. We finishes our day up with more horsey time and bareback riding! Everything at GRACE FARMS is horses, horses and MORE horses!!
