Our week-long day camps are a great way for beginner students to build a solid riding foundation through daily riding lessons. By the end of the week, campers will have learned horsemanship skills such as leading, brushing, saddling, steering, stopping, jogging, dismounting, and turning out horses. Campers also learn about the anatomy, colours, and breeds of horses.
Camp is also excellent for intermediate riders, allowing them to spend more time in the saddle. Consecutive riding days help campers learn faster and master advanced maneuvers, including leg yielding, backing, turn on the forehand, turn on the haunches, and loping. Students will also learn in-depth theory, covering topics such as conformation, hoof care, and common horse equipment.

- Camp Age Requirements
Week long day camps are for campers ages 7-14yrs (must be 7 years old at the time of camp)
- Pricing
$415.93+HST =$470 per week
- Drop off and Pick up
Camps run Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
***NEW TEEN CAMP***
For ages 11-14, must be an Intermediate Rider- Had more than 10 riding lessons; can walk and trot with control.
How it Register
Step 1: Please fill out our Online Registration Form. After completing the registration form your will receive a confirmation email stating that you have been accepted to camp.
Step 2: Send payment to Grace Farms
Full payment of $470 or a $200 non-refundable deposit must be submitted with application to reserve your spot.

Things to remeber for Camp
- Camp Hours: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
- Camper age: Camp is for Students ages 7-14 (Students must be 7 and the time of camp).
- Safety Gear: All campers are required to wear footwear with a 1/2" heel and a properly fitted, current, ASTM/SEI-approved equine helmet. For safety reasons, we do not allow bicycle helmets. We have helmets available to borrow for campers new to riding.
- Clothing: Long pants must be worn while riding; please arrive dressed in pants. After riding, campers may change into shorts and sandals or sneakers.
- Food & Drink: Please bring a packed lunch and a fillable water bottle.
- Electronics & Pets: Please leave all electronic devices at home. Grace Farms is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items. Pets are not permitted on the property.
- Payments & Refunds: A non-refundable deposit of $200 per week is required with your application. The remaining balance is due on or before the first day of camp.The balance is refundable if notification is received at least one month prior to the start date of camp. After that deadline, no refunds will be made without a medical certificate. No refunds will be given after the first day of camp.
